Today’s question is the type that I sometime struggle to answer rationally because my most visceral reaction is to get mad and wage a war of intellectual insults. What topic could inspire such a reaction from both sides? Religion of course. The question relates to a young man who has been taken out of his parents will for nothing more than having been born gay. This certainly is not as bad as some stories I’ve heard but it’s still aggravating knowing that even in 2015 young gay men and women around the world are still struggling to be fully accepted by those who should love them most – their family. Marc that was a very informative into the way people think when religion and how to live as a gay person. True the money is the parents to leave freely, but he should love his parents as although he is gay, they are still supporting him, loving him, and respecting his life as a gay man. When he told them that he was gay, they tried to be understanding, didn’t throw him out on the streets with nothing, and continued supporting him. It’s really up to him to continue his education with the support of his family, find the job that he can independently support himself, and when it’s their time to need support in later life, support them by whatever means as they’re doing him now. That is all, lessons are taught in life, and how they’re teaching him now is what matters, money or material thing seems to be just that, empty in the end. The memories, loyalty, support and love is now and one day he will see, it didn’t have anything to do with religion, just for a parent to teach their son to stand for what he believes, live for what he wants, and love whomever he pleases on his terms and not the terms of others, including his parents.

HI Marc, My Buddy:
I like your response, to young college student, for question concerning inheritance.
You gave good advice; in particular, you said, “Maybe they will print a 3rd version to the bible”.
Frankly, I LOVE IT!!..if you think about it, the bible has been written and re-written, and re-written to
infinity. So for me, it’s lost its credibility.
Love Your New Website, Marc, Doug
