Oh brother ! Is MEN.COM really sinking to this level for attention!? For the most part I’m a supporter of MEN and the people who run it. I thought they were better than this! Basically copying Raging Stallions ploy a few years back, of offering Ricky Martin 1 Million dollars to do a gay porn scene. My guess is Johnny Rapid makes about 1200-1800 per scene and he is the face of the company for goodness sake. Year after year model rates have fallen and in many cases studio profits have risen. Granted, models sit back and accept the rates and excuses that studios offer, and that’s a separate and often complicated issue as some performers are just not in a financial position to negotiate.

Rather than making this nonsensical offer to mainstream superstars who couldn’t care less about the gay porn business, take 20% of that 2 million and increase the scene rates of the top 20 performers on the site. Show some real monetary appreciation for the guys who make the site popular instead of having them read mean tweets. Want to see a magic trick ? It’s called how to make that 2 million disappear, just have performers start asking for higher scene rates and it will instantly vanish and MEN.COM will go from PORN JUGGERNAUT to pauper. Then all those lame excuses come right back about tight budgets , piracy , and all that B.S.!
