Marc, I agree with your advice but I would have gone further. Even if the kiss was more than a kiss, and even if it was more recent than 4 years ago, I believe that love is forgiving. Most of us have a very strong sex drive, and friendships can develop and become sexual. If your lover or partner fails and succumbs to temptation, true love will forgive and try to forget. What is gained by breaking up a bond that has been forged over such a long period for a failing that is all too human?
