Hi everybody, my name is Mary and I’ve been watching gay porn for almost four years now. When I first started watching, if someone had said “gay for pay” I would have wondered what in the hell they were talking about. But now, after almost four years, I know exactly what it means as well as many other phrases and words that I had never heard of before.
Gay for pay is not something I totally agree with and there are a few reason behind this. Most of the straight guys who get into the industry do it because they will make more money in gay porn than in straight porn. This is fine, up to a point and that point is when they refuse to touch another man’s dick, they refuse to give a blow job, they refuse to let another man touch their hole, hell in one case, Cody Cummings, even his sex scenes were faked because he wouldn’t even fuck the other guy. And yes, I know this as fact, because I am personal friends with the other man in the scene I am talking about. What’s the point of it all if they allow none of this to happen? There is one man in particular I’m thinking of as I wrote all of that. And what I don’t get is the fact that he was one of the highest paid models in the company and had too many fans to count. Why would the company pay this man more than the gay men who actually had sex? To this day, I still don’t understand the reasoning behind this.
Now, there are some guys who have gone this route and did everything, no matter what and in this instance, I’m talking about Marcus Mojo, who is now retired. I’ve known him for awhile and at first, I didn’t believe this man was straight. I mean, he bottomed, he topped, though that was rare. He sucked, he got sucked and he acted as though he was totally into everything he was doing. Then, I found out he was straight and had a girlfriend. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I was told, because I honestly believed he was gay or at least bisexual. But no, he is completely 100% straight. I have become close friends with Marcus since the time I found out, as well as his now ex girlfriend. I haven’t had a chance to actually sit down and talk with Marcus about his experiences within the gay porn industry, but I have talked to his ex a lot about it. All I will say, is that it completely changed his life. We’re talking about a young man, who started doing gay porn when he was 18 years old. Now, he’s 25 years old and has been out of the porn industry for a little over a year and to be honest, he’s a little lost. But, his story is for another time and I can’t tell it without his permission.
So, what do I think about gay for pay? I believe if a straight man is going to do gay porn, then he should be willing to do whatever is necessary to make a scene not just good, but great. If he doesn’t, then his pay should be reduced. He should not be made into a major star, like the person I was talking about above. It’s not fair to the gay or bi performers for this to happen. Now, if the person doing it is like Marcus Mojo, that’s a different story all together. He might not have enjoyed it, but you would never know it from his acting, I didn’t and I know a lot of other fans didn’t either. Even in person, he kept the act up and he still does, to an extent. This is fact, because I’ve seen it with my own eyes. But again, without his permission, I won’t say more.
I don’t think gay for pay will ever go away, but I think there should be less of it simply because I know there are willing gay men who are just waiting for the chance to break into the industry and won’t turn their noses up at giving a blow job.

I do not believe any man who sucks a man or does any anal intercourse can be straight. They must at least enjoy the sex in order to perform if even only on the stage or acting.I do not believe in the idea or concept of Gay For Pay. I just think it is a defense mechanism to avoid thinking that you are either Gay or Bi.
